What are Mancala pieces called?

You know those small half-marble like things you use to play mancala? What are they called? I mean is there an official name for them or is it just a Mancala piece?

Since Mancala was originally played in the dirt with stones, I call them stones. I think seeds and beans may be wrong because seeds and beans would either be food or for planting, not to be wasted in playing a game.
