We just bought a 15k shuffleboard table and there is this powder that we put on top of the board to keep it slippery... Cats love it so they jump up to roll in the powder which in turn gets places its not supposed to be around the house.

Cover the table when not in use or,

Glue the cats paws to the ceiling or.

Act like you want the cats up there....

In China and Viet Nam, cats are a delicacy...find a Chinese or Vietnamese friend who cooks and your problem is solved.

Try spraying cat repellent on top of the powder. Cats hate that stuff, but if it messes with the powder, then don't use it. The cat repellent will release an unpleasant smell to the cats that you shouldn't smell.
