Thinking ahead in a normal way, in a regular game of chess, is just part of the game;

but don't play blindfold chess. It's dangerous. Simultaneous blindfold exhibitions were

officially banned in 1930 in the USSR as they were deemed to be a health hazard.

Mikhail Botvinnik also warned against it. http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Blindfold_chess#Health_concerns

Be careful... You could die...

lol JK

I think it could be good if you want to get better at chess and visualizing in your head without needing to look at the board or move pieces on an analysis board.

I don't know of any specific methods for remembering the pieces, but I am very new at chess. I don't know what "the secret of the aronian" is either...

but check out the movie "Searching for Bobby Fischer" it is very good and also kinda has a perspective on blind chess in it and how it can help people get better at chess... Also check out chess.com and maybe ask in the forums there, you might get some better answers from more experienced players...

Good luck

Not really but you have to control.Tactics can improve by learning typical tactical ideas.Only way to improve tactics is by practicing.Imagination in chess by Patta something, it's a very good and very difficult book.
