I already play a mean chess game. But I would like to improve.

What online chess resources, chess database, etc can you recommend?

Thanks.

Good suggestions from Eric. There are many others. I like:

Chess Cafe's articles

http://chesscafe.com/

Internet Chess Club (but you have to be a paying member for most resources)

http://www.chessclub.com/

Writer and IM Jeremy Silman's page

http://www.jeremysilman.com/chess.html

Writer, NM, and Coach Dan Heisman's page

Hi, for online chess playing go to http://www.chessfriends.com - there is real time play, correspondence play, training videos, training articles, tournaments, etc. - most of staff is free, some is paid.

For professional chess articles go to chess-evolution.com - paid service

For watching live tournaments with top GM player go to chessbomb.com. - all main features are free.

I recommend this site lots of good stuff

http://www.thechessworld.com/

If you want to really improve that can only come from hard work studying lessons with a teacher and constant practice with better players who will keep you sharp no site or video online is going to make you a better player.

For chess tactics training go at chesstempo.com

For chessgames collection go at chessgames.com

For forums where you can create question, read articles or view threads, go at chess.com

Youtube has many instructive, endgame, opening and middle game videos.

For general survey of openings, wiki is a good one..

You can buy a book if these resources is not enough for you.
